Astrophotography Excells in Arizona!

Every photographer has days where things don’t go well, you strike out, and do not come away with a great photo. Well in Arizona there is another option — the night! The desert air is unusually clear and coupled with the spaciousness of the desert provides a unique opportunity for great astrophotographs! This should not be surprising there are at least 34 observatories located here. ¹

Actually, our air is so wonderful for observing the night sky it is not uncommon to find observatories attached to houses, or businesses. So when you think of photography, don’t forget the night!
